IT’S OCTOBER EVERYBODY!!!! YAYAYAYAY!!!!

You know how Olaf from Frozen feels about summer? {“I don’t know why but I’ve always loved the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot!”} Well, that’s how I feel about October. {I can’t wait for October, and fall, and all things pumpkin!}

I’ve been looking forward to October pretty much since August ended. Here where I live in Texas, September is a weird month. It’s not really summer, but it’s not fall either. I guess we could say that September is an in-between month filled with all things school.

Anywho…

October

OCTOBER is so much fun, y’all!

The weather starts cooling off, leaves start falling, and pumpkins show up everywhere.

I guess to be fair, I should say I saw pumpkins at HEB when I went grocery shopping last week, but in my mind at least, October=pumpkin month.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks, pumpkin bagels {which are AMAZING with Nutella}, pumpkin Oreos {can’t decide if I like these or not}, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, pumpkin pie, the actual pumpkin itself…

Pumpkins are just so happy.

Pumpkins aren’t the only thing I love about October. No, no, no. There are lots of things.

  • I love raking leaves, just to jump in them later.
  • I love crisp fall walks, that only seem to happen in October here where I live.
  • I love the start of sweater-weather.
  • I love hay rides.
  • I love the colors red, yellow, and orange.
  • I love seeing trees that change colors.
  • I love dressing up for Halloween.

I also love these “October” movies…

There’s nothing better than coming inside from a crisp fall day and watching a fall movie. Add popcorn, or maybe pumpkin pie, and you have one happy Kara :)

Have I mentioned that I love October?? ;)

I’m so pumped for this month. It’s going to be awesome!!

So happy October everyone! I hope you have a very blessed month!
